GLCA Mission
Great Lakes Chess Organization (GLCA) is a non-profit corporation organized to support the learning and development of chess skills through the creation and maintenance of scholastic chess programs and related activities. We work with students from first-grade through collegiate levels in Northwest Ohio to create and help maintain scholastic chess clubs. Participants receive chess instruction in two sessions--fall and spring. GLCA schools attend special weekend events organized exclusively for GLCA members.
